James Lambert has appeared in opera, musical theatre and concerts throughout the U.S. Recent operatic performances include the roles of Enrico (Lucia Di Lammermoor), Germont (La Traviata), Dapertutto and Lindorf (Les Contes d'Hoffman), and Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia).

Recently, he made his directorial debut with Raylynmor Opera's production of Rossini's Cenerentola.

In the past, James has performed the roles of: Marcello (La Boheme), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Belcore (L'Elisir d'Amore), Falke (Die Fledermaus). Guiseppe (The Gondoliers).

He has performed in concerts and productions by Aspen Opera Center, Bel Canto Opera of Boston, Bel Canto Opera of Rhode Island, Bold Lion Opera, Boston Academy of Music, Dickens Opera House, Italian Theatre Center of New England, Longwood Opera, Masque Theatre, Musica Sacra, Ocean State Lyric Opera, Opera Colorado, and Raylynmor Opera,.

Originally from Colorado, James studied at the University of Colorado and now lives in the Boston area.
